Designed to be the primary home for a couple, their three daughters, and two dogs, this residence, located in an upscale neighborhood of Salvador, is nestled within the surrounding vegetation. The major challenge of the project was reconciling the 15-meter slope of the land with the homeowner’s desire for the house to sit at the highest point without disturbing the existing trees. The solution, developed through a careful study of earth movement, was to create a series of terraces, allowing for the inclusion of gardens at every level of the house.

The flat roofs, with large overhangs, give the residence an urban yet cozy character, while providing ample shade in the outdoor leisure areas. The house includes a garden, gym, cinema, and elevator, among other features that add comfort and functionality to the residents' daily lives.

A special highlight of the project is the spiral staircase in the living room, conceived from the homeowner's desire to walk down the stairs with his daughter during her future 15th birthday celebration. Completely made of concrete, the staircase contrasts with the rest of the space, becoming a striking visual element.
